Notable Tobagonians: Lalonde Gordon was born in Lowlands on November 25, 1988 and won a bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympic Games, competing in the 400-metres relay. He was also part of the Trinidad and Tobago four-by-400-metre relay team that won a silver medal in the 2012 Olympics.
Fun Fact: In 1958, Tobago was chosen by the Walt Disney Company as the setting for their forthcoming film based on the Johann Wyss novel, Swiss Family Robinson.
