Recipe of the Month: Blackberry Buttermilk Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup chilled blackberries

  • 1 cup chilled buttermilk

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • Pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

Combine the chilled blackberries with the chilled buttermilk, honey and salt in a blender and puree until the mixture is smooth. Refrigerate until well-chilled, about 15 minutes. Pour the smoothies into your favorite tall glasses and serve. Total prep time: 20 minutes; Serves two.
