Meet the Models Series: Sharice

Throughout the year the Asher Marie Collection team would like to introduce you to the talent who have dedicated their time and energy modeling our many dresses, tunics, and resort wear pieces. Like the individuals who we design our collection for, these models have a deep love for world travel, beach life, and eclectic details.

Our models bring out the best in Asher Marie’s pieces and we would like to carve some space and time out to honor them here. Through our Meet the Models Series we will take you on a behind-the-scenes look into our models’ lives so you can get to know a bit about the creative spirits we have grown to love!

What is your go-to favorite eat?

This is a tough one! I love anything Italian. I'm a huge cheese snob. Also, seafood if I am in the right mood.

Favorite flick?

Don't judge, but I love the Lord of the Rings movies. I have no idea how I got into them, except that I gave them a chance and absolutely fell in love.

Anything with a warm breeze and near a beach. A fun girls' trip to the Caribbean or a getaway with my man to a romantic destination like Santorini, Greece.

What’s a color you can’t live without?

Lately, I have a growing obsession with all shades of grey. I also love gold. However, blues tend to be my personal staple.

Words to live by?

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. -Philippians 4:13

How do you take care of you body? Today, fitness and health are such personal journeys; what do you do to stay in shape and feel good about yourself?

Yoga and Pilates are my go-to stress relievers. I also try to get away once a week to pamper myself by getting a mani/pedi or drinks with girlfriends.

Okay, let’s get down to business. You are beautiful and such a sweetheart…are you single?

Nope, I am very proudly engaged!!! Wedding Spring 2016, so stay tuned!

Do you have a fun childhood memory you could share?

Growing up, my sister and I would create a restaurant out of our kitchen and serve 5-course gourmet meals to our parents. We had to be creative as we lived in a city with a population less than 300!

Interesting fact about you?

As I mentioned, I grew up in a super small town…I graduated with a high school class size of 12. Yes, you read the number correctly.

What is your favorite Asher Marie piece:

It’s hard to just pick one, but I absolutely love the Marissa and the Joy for their comfort, versatility and beauty. Of course, the Sharice is fun for a night out with the girls! Love that you can pair it with a blazer if it’s a bit chilly!
